Some Pruning

    Just pruned my large lavenda rbush a little to tidy it up an dmy ceanothas before it gets too high.

    Still cold in shade but so nice inth esun after hard frost thsi morning it s -deg

    And now its 10deg :) tropical or what.

    Nice to get out and get going isnt it. I would have personally waited with the lavender, up here its still really cold and the old growth gives some protection. And Ceanothus possibly best pruned after flowering as you may have pruned out lots flowers, although I suppose with Ceanothus they flower so prolifically there will stil be plenty.

    I was not severe with my Lavender or Ceanothas TPM I just took off the dead heads of lavender and no more at least it looks tidy and as for my Ceanothas it was just getting too high if wind got hold of it .
