    hiya. i've been a member for a while but don't think i have ever used the forum. i'm not a vastly experienced gardener. used to have a small plot and an allotment in exeter then moved to the midlands and now have a 60ft plot, which is solid clay :eek: (london brick would love it..) and i'm trying to build an exotic garden! look forward to chatting :D

    Ola forcandles! There are several exotic folk here and walnut is one as well as Banana Man and pete and Strongy and others and ... I am naturally because of my climate but have to ask these guys for advice.

    Welcomre, FC! Just get hold of BM, ask and make notes! :D You've probably seen already lots of fantastic photos about his hideout - go and drool!

    There a plenty of other specialists in the area, but BM's garden is bananatastic!

    Hi Forcandles, I'm new too - just wanted to commiserate about digging on clay, my allotment was really clayey too. Looking on the bright side the digging is great exercise though (I suppose), and my veg seemed to do really well on it.
    Love your user name - it's a two ronnies reference, I assume? :D I love that sketch!
