We haven't bought Christmas or Birthday wrapping paper for years !! - Both Mrs AA and self use pages from magazines or newspapers which are printed with attractive adverts or pictures of some sort. With a bit of imagination one can make up wrappings to complement the gift inside or make a scheme, say all car pictures or all flower pictures - lots of fun and really appreciated by the recipient of the gift!

We carefully select the lowest rated 'selotape' with the worst sticking qualities, and try and take our post Xmas bargain wrapping back home with us after delivering presents on Xmas day to re-use the following year. Labels are made by cutting bits from last year's Xmas cards using crimping shears. Gift ribbon, gift bags and gift bows are also re-used. Short snippets of re-used ribbon can be used to either attach labels or if scraped with a knife, make fancy, curly attachments.
