    OPEN TIMES
    SATURDAY 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    SUNDAY 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Building on the previous years' very successful openings (the charity eventually received more than the previous year's record of £4,000)
Mr And Mrs Shiney invite you to enjoy a walk around their garden
and relax over some delicious homemade cakes and a cup of tea or coffee
There will be the usual large amount of plants for sale

A book stall with many almost new best sellers

    On Saturday
    We, once again, have the
Las Palomas Flamenco Dancers with us,
and the delightful singer, Zara Fox.
New this year, SOSA Dance (solo salsa dancers).

    On Sunday
Also new to our garden, we have Anwaar Bellydance

ENTRY DONATION £1 - TEA WITH CAKE £1.50

BOOK STALL - PLANT SALE - RAFFLE

    HANDMADE GLASS PLATES, DISHES
    JEWELLERY

    KNITTED SCARVES
    NOVELTY TEA COSIES (by Jenny)

As usual I shall be giving a private tour to GC members at 11.30 on Saturday and you are then welcome to join Mrs Shiney and myself for a sandwich and a cuppa. If you are unable to make it for that time then you will still be most welcome any other time - but you may miss meeting the other members.

We are half way between junctions 7 and 8 on the M11 (15 minutes from both) and 15-20 minute from Hertford and Chelmsford. For those of you flying in to Stansted we are 15 minutes from there as well.

PM me for detailed driving instructions
and, if you shall be staying in the area overnight, links to accommodation.

This is the link to a preview I put on GC some years ago http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/sneak-preview-of-shineys-open-day.16514/

I'm making a provisional booking, but, things are all up in the air at the moment and I'm not sure where I'll be or what I'll be doing  :gaah:

Those of you that will be staying until late, or overnight in the area are most welcome to join us, once again, at the Indian restaurant for dinner.

This is an annual tradition on both Saturday and Sunday nights where helpers and friends get together.

We were fortunate enough to have quite a few GC members join us last year and look forward to as many (or more) doing so, again, this year. :dbgrtmb:

That would be brilliant :dancy:. We get others coming that distance just as a day trip. :)

                      Fantastic. :blue thumb:

Let me know if you want directions and any details of where to stay if you want to. Although you're only just over an hour and a half from me - depending on traffic.

                        * That would be directions from Folkestone as I would come straight from France

When I get a moment I'll send you directions. You'll also need directions to Waltham Abbey from the Indian restaurant - that's only 15 minutes :). I suppose that living in France you don't get much chance at a good Indian
