As usual I shall be giving a private tour to GC members at 11.30 on Saturday and you are then welcome to join Mrs Shiney and myself for a sandwich and a cuppa. If you are unable to make it for that time then you will still be most welcome any other time - but you may miss meeting the other members.

We are half way between junctions 7 and 8 on the M11 (15 minutes from both) and 15-20 minute from Hertford and Chelmsford. For those of you flying in to Stansted we are 15 minutes from there as well.

PM me for detailed driving instructions
and, if you shall be staying in the area overnight, links to accommodation.

This is the link to a preview I put on GC some years ago http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/sneak-preview-of-shineys-open-day.16514/

I just need to make sure I can make the necessary arrangements with Aunt Sally. She works in social care, so has to do unusual shifts.

@Freddy maybe you can stay in B&B as some others do (or bring a caravan). I do Bristol in something under 2.5 hours. Don't know how long it takes with a caravan :hate-shocked:

We'll provide you with sandwiches :blue thumb:

              Hiya @shiney :blue thumb:

I keep the caravan down in Newton Abbot. I couldn't tow it anyway, with the cars I currently have. I might decide to stay over, but since I've just had to take a pay cut (not on shift any more), I have to be a bit more careful. BTW, I'm angling towards the Saturday
