You have my sympathy, Pete. I had considerable trouble on the change over with long posts. I would write them and then lose them after finding the system had logged me out without me knowing in mid-post. But somehow the problem has disappeared for the present.
Your problem sounds different but has the same result:mad:
I'm sure Marley and Nathan will do they're best to sort the problem:thumbsup::love30:

 Pete this is so weird.. I have never seen a blank page before.. Why not try doing what I told Armandii to do..?

Log in as normal & tell it to remember you etc.. When you are logged in & on the Home page Bookmark it & then do not log out.... The next time you come on line just go to your book marks & click on GC.. You should still be logged in & hopefully not get the kick out or blank pages.... That is all I can think of for now Pete which may or may not solve it, but worth a try....

I never log out Marley and always use book marks.
I dont get kicked out, just a blank page when I click submit.
Seems to be when I try to be a bit long winded, but I'm sure your not doing it on purpose:WINK1:

I always use the new advanced format, Pete, well, at least when I got it. I didn't get the new advanced format for some reason until well after the change but still suffered being logged out without wanting to be when writing a long post.:gaagh: Like I said before the problem seems to have disappeared. I would use the advanced anyway if writing a long post.

 Well I don't see why the quick reply should do it but try the advanced reply in future & see.. I have to admit I use the advanced most of the time myself..

    Pete,
I only ever use advanced. Can remember why I started doing it but I think I found it better.

One thing that puzzles me is that in a number of your postsyou have put a link. When I click on that link it is always a blank page.

I've not checked to see whether it is the same link each time but I can't see why it would be . In which case it seems as though there is some sort of clash between you, or your computer, and the software. As I'm a novice with regard to computers I haven't a clue.

Sorry Shiney, the blank page is the page I get when I click on submit.

Just wanted to spread my annoyance, after writing a lengthy post with my one typing finger, and losing it to that bl***y page.:D

No problem, pete. As long as it helps vent your frustration I can take it :D.

Hi Pete, again you have my sympathy as I know how frustrating it can be.

Marley, sorry to be a pain, but last night the smilies stopped working and are still not working, any reason for that???
