Surprised this has not been snapped up - fingers crossed for you when the house selling season kicks off again in the autumn.

      |I cant help thinking gardens do not sell houses these days, much as your garden would suit me @Palustris, I dont think many people see the garden as an asset these days.
They just want a large house with enough space for a patio and barbeque.

I find it sad, but then I like room to move, there are those out there that given a large garden would immediately apply for planning permission for another couple of houses.

Already thought of trying to get planning permission to make it sell easier. Not possible. Very very green belt and no mains water or sewers.

I think you are looking for that special person who wants exactly what you have there.
It's going to take a while I'm thinking.

You may be too late now. We think we have sold, well the contract has been signed, but not exchanged.

Odd, in a way that everyone assumes we are moving to a property with a garden. We could be buying a bungalow with just a metre of land all round and a car parking space at the front. There are plenty of that type around.
We ain't though. The garden is much smaller than the present one though.

I think it's a natural assumption that you will have a garden, albeit smaller, as your such a good and enthusiastic gardener. :)

We're finding it more difficult to manage our garden but I can't imagine not having a garden at all - unless we're forced to it.
