Strange Eggs

    over the last couple of months, one of my girls has been laying strange eggs occasionally.....

      We had a hen that regulary laid extra long double yokers that would take an extra day to produce and very often would have a indentation running around the middle.

      no Catztail, the big egg was normal inside, not even a double yolker. I find it weird that it had a kind of spiral running around it. weird. and that second egg was a normal sized egg, its just the end looked rude :heehee:

      How about this one that our Mona laid today? Above is one of her normal size eggs:

      That'll make a lovely fried egg sandwich for breakfast tomorrow morning - it needs using up as the egg box wont shut.

          It was delicious. But how often do you see something like this from shop bought eggs these days?
