Stunning Gardens without Water

Aloe striata, I think that is the one pete sent me LoL, its a nice one, albeit still a baby Aloe.

 

I have lots of clumps of Aloe brevifolia, a miniature I brought from England, where it tolerated frost and snow. I could tuck a few in a tube, if you'd like?

 

Definitely if you think they would make it? I am getting more into succulents again. I am going to get more for the house too as companions for my cowboy cactus. :D

 

It was Striatula 'squee' :D

 

I am now wondering if I have aristata as my book says it's marginally frost hardy and has white spots on the leaves, although they look like the picture of the brevifolia! I'll investigate tomorrow and see if I can uproot some, squeeBabe, and send whatever it is I have, okay?

 

Its not Humilis is it LOL?

 

Well, there's a third option now, pete! I'll take a picture. I'm thinking it's summer blooms rather than spring.

It is not spikey, I can run my hand across it and the little white hairs are soft, hence me now thinking the aristata.

The leaves behind it are Agapanthas, but not a huge clump, if that helps sizewise.

Yeah I guess your right LOL.
I have that one or two in the garden as well, it sometimes gets a bit of winter rot, but usually survives well.
