suggestions for keeping dog off raised flower bed

    title says it all really, my hound is digging in it and i was wondering if anyone had a fantastic idea to prevent this.

    the only way I know off is effective but time consuming, squirt them with a water pistol everytime they go near it........

    Roll out some chunky mesh, the kind that tennis courts are enclosed by, along the bed. Let the plants grow through it. It won't stop the dogs walking among the plants but it will prevent them digging the roots out. Just an idea, I saw it on telly, I don't know anyone that's actually tried it though:)

    saw it in wilkos, its called "pets off" it keeps your pets off your lawns etc,it produces a very strong sent that animals dislike, worth a look
