    Hi guys
Nuver quetion for you all, hope u don't mind.
i brought some summer flowering bulbs today, some crocosmia and some liatris. Now i know i can't plant them out yet, till after the frosts have gone. but is it a good idea to get them started off in pots indoors then hardner them off later on b4 planting, or just wait till i can plant them out? impatient annie i am LOL.

Also is it true with the crocosmia that they might not flower till next year?

thanks again in advance for any help.

    Hi Traceyg
When you say indoors do you mean in a greenhouse?
I wouldn't pot them up in the house but a frost free greenhouse would probably be ok if your impatient.
Ive not grown Liatris but I have grown Crocosmia and it should give you some flowers this year, although they do get better in subsequent years.
    Both plants are hardy.
