I'm not sure if it's worth a new thread but it was fascinating enough for me.
I was sowing new seeds for the upcoming season and one of my sunflower seeds actually sprouted as twin plants from a single pit.

    Never knew that was possible....

That is a nice thing to see
Keep them happy and dont separate them

please continue to update their progress if you have time.

It would be great if you can cross pollinate them

You might have somthing very special there
And if they manage to make seeds that in turn germinate as twins

      Then it woud be confirmed.

      Thanks for you interest @Fai
Sadly they got eaten by slugs and a late frost killed what was left of them. I was rellay looking forward to seeing them grow :frown:

      O sorry to hear that.

I know how that feels but not to worry
      A lesson learnt i guess.
Your seedling program requires an update to improve its performance

I keep the plants i like indoors where i can protect them from the elements and bugs.

I keep planting sunflower seeds one day you might be lucky enough to get twins from a single seed again.

Btw did you post an image of the seed on reddit?
