Hhhmmmm......... do I get first bragging rights then!

    Here goes;
    S.elegans in the main bed............

Lots of these fresh buds all over it. I thought that it was done when they stopped opening before christmas. I think that the variety is "Golden Delicious".

The proper S.elegans is blooming properly in a pot in a sheltered spot. Here's a cutting from it blooming as well in the greenhouse...................

Also blooming in the greenhouse is S.discolor....................

Wendys Wish is blooming in a couple of sheltered spots outdoors..................

I also have S.confertiflora heavily in bud in a sheltered spot.

It's generally a good hardy one Joolz.

Don't ask what I've got! Already germinating are S.hians, S.miltiorrhiza and S.pratensis. Another nine to start off soon.

I got my seeds from Robins Salvias last week! Did anyone else order and if so, what did you get?

          And.....................

@PeterS kindly sent me a whole bundle of Salvia seed too, most of which I had to look up.
          Many thanks Peter!:ThankYou:

Thanks to seeds from @PeterS and @nibor (through his seed list) this years big Salvia push is coming along nicely.
            So far I have sown (# denotes the ones that have started germinating);
            S.algeriensis
            S.amarissima
            S.brevilabra
            S.candelabrum #
            S.gesneriflora (mountain form) #
            S.hians #
            S.interupta
            S.jurisicii
            S.lasiantha #
            S.mellifera #
            S.miltiorrhiza #
            S.miniata
            S.pratensis #
            S.radula #
            S.rhinosina #
            S.scabra
            S.stolonifera #
            S.subpalmatinervis
            S.subrotunda
            S.taraxacifolia
            S.urica #

Seven of those were sown last night so I'm pleased with the rate of germination so far. I've used the paper towel method, but for some of the smaller ones I will probably go down the conventional route.

@Jenny namaste - there are still a few more to start yet too. I'm staggering the sowings so some will bloom this year, others next year, and some I'll be downright lucky if they ever bloom!
