We didn't grow much in the way of sweet peas this year but have the perennial ones growing wild all over the garden.

A few that we did plant:

          High, Kimberley
'Cupani', 'Painted Lady' and 'Matucana' are (as well as being the oldest) the most strongly scented of all sweet peas.

If there is sufficient interest & approval, I would be happy to start a step by step guide to successful sweet growing, as I have done on other forums......starting in the autumn.

Now just a thought would these everlasting sweet peas grow in a pot or would they eventually have to be placed on the ground? ?

Very rampant, Kimberley and not really suitable for growing (except for seed sowing & growing on) in pots.

Some time last year somebody (I think in this forum) recommended one or more sweet pea varieties that were particularly weather resilient. This is especially important to me due to the amount of wind, rain and relatively cool temperatures that I endure in my part of the UK.

Does this ring any bells with anyone? I was sure that I had bookmarked the page or saved the info but now I can't find it.

Thank you so much, I read through the thread twice and somehow managed to miss HarryS's post, apparently I need new glasses. :)
