Help! Can anybody tell me what the leaf troubles are on my Swiss Chard? It starts as a small whitish spot and grows. Removing the affected leaves does not cure anything - back it comes! And how to cure? Thanks for any help qrpgardener

Hi qrp & [IMG]....Certainly sounds like leaf miners to me. Thy are common. I've never heard that Swiss chard has any known diseases or pests, except leaf miners. Leaf miners everntually get mine every year
I grow lots of Swiss chard & leaf miners are always a problem, but not a huge one. Just remove the affected leafs. My biggest chard issue is aphids on the yellow chard and ONLY on the yellow chard! But I have so much that neither the miners or the aphids are too big of a problem.
