Tatties in a bin ?

    I was cleaning out behind the shed, mainly to retrieve some flower pots when I came upon my old dustbins (two) from the days before wheelie bins.
    Could I grow potatoes in these, or something else? Seems a shame to bin them. :)

    No reason why not. If it were me, I’d produce some holes in the bottom and add a couple of inches of broken up polystyrene to aid drainage before adding any compost.
