Terracotta cat problem!

    Hi every one - I cannot sleep so thought I would try and solve my problem as regards a really nice terracotta cat which has a broken paw (in one piece but not on the cat) Can anyone help me to get the two back together again please??!!:dh:

    According to 'the net', you can buy something called 'Milliput' especially designed for terracotta repairs and which (according to their website at - http://www.gardensupplydirect.co.uk/milliput/10037_0c.html) is an " .. epoxy putty .. simple to use, comes in a range of colours, and is totally frost proof once set"

    I've not tried it, so no recommendation.

    Failing that, you could try waterproof PVA which dries clear. Because your broken surfaces are porous, you'd have to put a thin layer on each, let it dry then apply another layer to stick them together. I know it works well as regards its waterproof qualities, not sure about the frostproof bit though.
