    Hi all,

We have the exact same pots as our neighbours, ours are a few weeks newer. I have noticed on our pots the terracotta has got white marks on them, like they are really old. Whereas next doors are still nice and new looking!

What is the white markings and is there something I can do to put on the pots to stop it?

Hello, It could be the salt leeching out of the clay, house bricks do the same, though I could be wrong.

Personally, I prefer the old look! I actually smear loads of yogert on mine to make them look weathered, though they just tend to go green!
