I forgot to mention that the new Clubcard accounting period started today so vouchers should be available online in a few days, well in advance of the 3rd when double at Tesco Direct starts.

This Joseph Bentley pruner and knife set seems like a good buy, £24 at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/JOSEPH-BENTLEY-PRUNING-HOLSTER-SET/dp/B00438JNVW (think that might be wooden handles, OK the £3 version has plastic handled knife - but so do Victorinox stuff! - and the pruners have rubber type sleeves on the handles), but now only £3 from Tesco with free click and collect http://www.tesco.com/direct/joseph-...er-set/213-7760.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=213-7760 Just ordered one for somebody to get me for Xmas.

Just collected my pruning set which seems like good quality for the money.

Noticed kiddies stainless steel? Hand forks with wooden handles reduced to only 25p in store, no sign of the matching trowels, might be worth checking online. EDIT: can't find them

Scrunge, I don't buy online, but can you order online (click and collect) and pay in store when you collect it, your do you have to pay for it online??

You can place your Tesco Direct order instore using the terminal at the collection desk (might not be in all stores, but can be done in my nearest Tesco Extra) , but I don't know if you can pay using a card terminal/cash/whatever there, or if the only option is paying online using that terminal in the same way as ordering online from home, might be worth checking.

Can you place an order with them by phone? http://www.tesco.com/direct/help/contact-us.page?icid=SanDisk SDXC Memory Card 64GB_Contact Us_165400030 Hmmmmm, that's a very odd link

I popped into our local tesco today and 14" hanging baskets were further reduced from £2 to £1, clay strawberry planters were £2 from £3.50.

Seems a little early this big gardening clearance but then our store had Christmas stuff in at the end of August last year!!! :thud: :hate-shocked: :th scifD36:

Some of those loppers look good and am very tempted with some of the Fiskars with the cogs..

The secateurs look really good but I'll stick to the Felco's. Man, those things can take some punishment.
