Cheek:) @"M". After a decidedly rocky start to my Potato growing venture things have improved dramatically i'm glad to report:hapfeet:. My Anyas are delicious and have a huge crop. Will definitely grow those again as I will Belle De Fontenay. Red Dukes mmmmn ok but fell apart when boiled and Pentland Javalin was fine but not very heavy crop. My Pink Fir Apples are flowering now so looking forward to those babies soon.My biggest mistake was getting too many early varieties and not enough main crop so will rectify that next year if I haven't expired from the never ending stone picking and resulting wall building which is taking up just about all of my time. The garden consequently looks like you could stir it with a stick but really want to get the piece of what was waste land sown before the winter so just have to batter on.
Well done:thumbsup: @Poly Hive . Can see you have been hard at it too and got the results you deserve for it

Lifted the first "Boiling" of the 2nd earlies. These are the variety Shetland Black and as you can see the colour goes through the tuber. They are literally boiling as I type so will update later as to taste and texture.

The lesson learnt today was they do not suffer boiling happily (mush) so we will steam gently the next time.
