Not quite a garden visit but a nice day out with the boy.

We had a Vegiburger at the Blue Note Café (bet Scrungee & Roma have been there:snork: )

According to legend the Glastonbury Thorn grew from the staff of Joseph of Aramathea when he came to England with the infant Jesus, but we won't go into that.

Lovely Zigs. We had lots of family holidays at Glastonbury when the kids were younger on a farm at the bottom of the Tor. I thought the Thorn had been vandalised last year?

Last time I was in Glastonbury ,circa 1990 , the place was full of new age loonies - love and peace man . So busy we could not park , ended up in Street . A town full of shoe shops - amazing !

Glastonbury is full of Candle and magic stone Shops now Harry. Oh I think you mean Steet? That's got a great big outlet village now, quite good if you like shopping.

There's me thinking of the drive and getting blatted. Years ago when the police had better things to do than chase the young , drunk in cars which had no power steering and taking on a hump back bridge with a fork just after. Place near Mear Heath on the road from Wells to Glastonbury. As you may guess the road won and we were lucky to get out alive. Silly boys back then. Nice to see part of the old stomping ground Zigs.

You'd like it, its a totally vegetarian Café. Although I was tempted to ask if the vegiburger had any Horse in it:snork:

We saw a car being recovered from a ditch yesterday, out on the road to Wedmore.

Hope it wasn't the same as mine, an old Corsair with furry dice hanging from the mirror.
The roof and steering wheel were three inches apart. Head lights facing each other from a telegraph pole we took out too.

We've eaten in the Blue Note Café but prefer The Abbey Tea Rooms for a proper Cream Tea, yum!
