      Thank you Sian
She looks ok when she got up, but the first sight we both thought she was a dead one

My daughter was in a music shop when a bedraggled man came in and asked how much the penny whistles were. He was told the cheapest was 6.99 and he looked at his change and didn't have enough and walked out. When my daughter went out she saw him on the post office steps wrapped in a blanket. She gave him the money for the whistle. Who knows if he bought it but I was proud of her:SUNsmile:

I had a stressful time taking my mum to the doctor’s on Wednesday. There are no disabled parking spaces in the area, so I had to park over 100m away, and get mum to walk with her Zimmer frame to the surgery. She won’t walk close to the frame, so is bent over double. The wheels won’t work on rough pavements. Mum was so exhausted, she started to collapse going up the ramp to the entrance. Fortunately, I caught her before she hit the ground, and managed to get her back to her feet again...

I knew she wouldn’t be able to make the return trip to the car, so I planned to walk to the street entrance with her, and leave her there whilst I got my car. There was a young lady (probably around 16-18yrs?) waiting in the gateway. I said to mum that I was going to leave her “next to this lovely young lady” while I got the car, whilst making pleading eye contact. The girl smiled, nodded, and started talking gently with mum. As I started to run to get my car, I turned round, and saw an older woman, obviously the mother, coming out of the surgery. I ran to get my car. When I got back a few mins later, the two women were standing on either side of mum, engaging her in conversation. They smiled, waved off my profuse thanks, and said goodbye.
Then we started to head across the street. One of the district nurses passed us on her way to work. She walked past, but a few seconds later, was at my side, helping me guide mum across the street. She must have just gone in to say she was back, before returning to help.
There were definitely three angels walking the streets of Hereford that day....

Went for a walk this afternoon as we haven't been going because drivers won't/don't slow down when meeting people in very narrow lanes, well we got to the narrow bits of the lane and a white van man came driving down, so we got onto the side of lane (bit of grass 6 inches wide) and he slow right down :yay::yes::thumbsup::dbgrtmb: as he passed we said "thank you" so thank you DPD driver :blue thumb::thumbsup: hopefully things are changing :)

Very early this morning, son and I were trying to visit a courthouse in a city quite a distance from us and he forgot his mask. So we went in search of anything open that might sell the cheapie disposals. The first convenience store we approached was still closed but a street person sitting on the sidewalk begging for handouts directed us to another that was open and only a block away. Never asked me for money, just was helpful. I don't carry coins on me when I'm going to court, it saves having to empty my pockets to get through the metal detector so I used my credit cardto pay for the masks. Since they charge interest immediately on cash advances to the card, I just bought a lottery ticket and gave it to her on the way back.Told her I had no cash but hoped she would win something. If nothing else, she could sell it for less than it's face value. But isn't that nice? Someone down on their luck helping me! :dbgrtmb:
