while I was surfing the web , I`ve found this strange way
    of rooing roses cutting .
apparently the potatoe keep the roses always moist and the rose will
feed out the potatoe and get helped to root fast .

at the end the potatoe will just rott away .

will that work with other cutting?????

Thanks Sal73 very interesting - never seen that before, maybe it could work for other cuttings. Hopefully someone will come along and tell us.

I've seen that before but just dismissed it as witchcraft.

Not seen it before myself, but just assume one drawback could be that you have potatoes forever growing around the roots of your roses.:)
