Aww Marley, your post about Charley was so moving - I'm crying. What a wonderful testament though. It's so nice that you have those great shots of him. The one where he is looking straight into the camera made me want to cuddle him.
      Take care x

Oh! Penny, I'm so sorry to hear your news. There's no words that really comfort at this time. Take it day by day and let your memories of him make you smile. :)

Sorry to read about Kobe's passing Penny, I know he will be missed but I'm sure he had a wonderful time with you.

We might forget some of the material things we've had in life but we never forget our pets.:)

Yes, Thanks Shiney for such a wonderful memorial to Oscar. As in life he made your garden his spiritual home so shall it be in his new life. He will walk with you forever in your garden. I am sure his spirit will be quite tangible to you both. R.I.P. Oscar.:)

Oh, Shiney, I am writing on behalf of my sister and I as she has not been on here of late as she is busy in Florida. We have both lost many cats over the years and know how painful their absence from our lives can be.

Your lovely Oscar always made me smile as my Calvos looks very much like him in markings ... Oscar was just bigger and fluffier ... but the same smudge on the nose and black under the chin and soldier stripes on the legs.

He lived to a good age (albeit slightly unknown) and had a wonderful home and parents who adored him. May he rest in peace.

Sis had sad news this week that Kitty whom she adored in Germany (the neighbours cat who visited her daily and Sis posted many pictures of her here on GC) was also went to Cat Heaven last week.

Penny, I am so sorry I missed that you had lost your beloved Kobe recently and I know he is with you wherever you go.

So I send the following for all our beautiful furry friends who have departed us ...

I wasn't really aware that the Rainbow Garden was up and running. Thanks Marley for reminding me :dbgrtmb:

My thoughts are with all of you that have put their pets here :wub2: and for those of you that will do so.

Thanks Kandy for your kind words. He was very special.

I've added another photo at the end of the others. Some friends turned up and Ian had been waiting at least 30 seconds before being able to get in the front door. so Oscar had promptly sprawled out and gone to sleep with his head on Ian's shoes :heehee:

Victoria, many thanks for your kind thoughts :wub2: and send Kedi our love as well.

Mrs Shiney is out at the moment and I have just taken delivery of a box for her, that is higher than my knees, from the M & S Flower Shop. I guess that is more flowers for Oscar. They've been arriving yesterday and today. :)
