    We ate in one of those pubs FC, the food was amazing and a huge plateful I couldn't get through! :)

    Nahhh, Armandii would be put off by the midges. :heehee:

    We chose that area because it was about midway between East and West.

    Thank you @Marley Farley. :) To be honest there was more driving than walking done as other half and I needed to scout the whole of Galloway and our ageing bodies can't cope with the hiking anymore. :biggrin:

    If anyone is interested I could start another thread with pictures of Galloway?
