I have a 'to do list' that feels as long as my arm, and even although I have the next four days off work, I don't think I will get even half of them done:

    • Finish cutting the holes in the 110mm pipe for my strawberry tree
    • Wrap the pipe in weed suppressant fabric and then cut the X-slits for the plants to go through later
    • Stick in into the pot over the smaller inner pipe and leave to cure
    • Plant up three half moon wall planters, one double hanging basket, and goodness knows how many pots
    • Move courgettes into bigger pots
    • Move last of tomatoes into bigger/final pots
    • Stake cucumber plants
    • Clear out the wee borders inside the dividing walls between patio and grass
    • Plant up the aforementioned borders with hardy fuchsias and malva zebrina
    • Clear weeds from front garden, including the four foot tall dandelion thing
    • Pressure wash drive and front garden
    • Move hanging basket tree round to the front
    • Build a stack of bricks to support trough behind front garden wall
    • Move two troughs of nasturtiums up onto the outhouse roof
    • Drill holes in porch wall to hold window box planter
    • Plant up window box planter and attach to wall
    • Fill two growbags - one for carrots, one for cauliflower
    • Sow carrots & cauliflower
    • Sow more lettuce
    • Sow hollyhocks
    • Sow red hot pokers
    • Fill strawberry tree with compost and plant up with strawberries
    • Move lupin seedlings into the pots freed up by the strawberries
    • Move lemon mum marigolds (plant directly into pots and borders where possible
    • Move remaining Caribbean peppers into larger pots
    • Cut grass
    • Clean greeenhouse
    • Clean out shed
    • Take rubbish to the dump
    • Pressure wash patio and back garden
    • Pressure wash garden furniture
    • Apply 4-in-1 to grass four days after cutting

Being male you're at a disadvantage FC, multi tasking would be handy. I'm off! :runforhills:

            Ouch!

I have to confess that Sunday is likely to be a 'roast and bacardi' day though - need at least one day of nothingness once in a while.

Yes, I know it's a roast & Bacardi day today, but, maybe .... before the Bacardi sets in ....? :heehee:

Thank goodness I am retired and my garden is now 15 years old and established which I did when I was younger ... so my answer is basically zero except tidy up on a regular basis and water daily ... very thankful in our heat ... :love30:

PS: could you save the chicken oysters for me? That is, if you aren't eating them. I'm partial to a chicken oyster, or two

Sadly, they are gone - Little C loves them, so has devoured them. Pity I can't get her to be as enthusiastic about broad beans.....
