    Failed plaster to several areas of the south wall of the nave.

    Replastered with lime mortar.

    Cutting out cement pointing at lower level on the south wall of the nave, this was holding the damp in and causing the salt crystlisation that was disrupting the plaster internally.

              I guess someone has to be there.... Actually, m-I-l has extremely fond memories of being evactuated there during WW11. She says it's a great place.

                      I love churches :) I'm not a regular attender by any means :whistle: but love the places:wub2:
                      I visited some beautiful ones last year, some new to me some not. I think the oldest was st. Bega's By bassenthwaite ? Made my day!:spinning:

                      It's corny ( could have been walking for miles prior) but the peace was deafening, gorgeous place:star:
