I grow outdoor tomato's as i dont have a greenhouse, although i manage to do quite well towards the end of the season they get blight.

What actually causes blight? Too much water?

Would half sinking big pots into the ground help against blight?

Blight is a fungal disease. It thrives in warm damp weather
