I bought a bush variety of Tomato Plant in June a fairly well established bush with lots of flowers and a few small Tomatoes on it anyway since then I've had quite a good crop from it considering the size of the bush and I was just waiting for the last few Tomatoes to ripen so that I could clear out the plant and make room for other things... anyway I thought it was done producing fruit but this week I've discovered a fresh flush of blooms on the plant... my question is will fruits form and ripen before the Tomato growing season is over?

    Thanks

You've a good chance of getting some fruits. They may not ripen on the plant, but if you pick them before the first frosts you could ripen them indoors.

I think you'll get tomatoes Cyriluk.
Well I hope you will because I've still got tomatoes in flower outdoors in Scotland.
They've always come good for me and I see no reason for it to be any different this year.
Hold your horses (be patient) and I think you will get tomatoes.

Tomatoes keep flowering and producing all season if you let them, definately leave the plant alone and it will pay you back. I'm sure you will get a load more ripe fruit off it.

Just keep up the feeding and watering, there is plenty of time left, I've had outdoor toms still ripening in early November some years ago.
It all depends on the weather.

Bush (determinate) tomatoes finish earlier than indeterminate ones but you still have plent of time. :thumb:

My cherry tomato plants are still flowering & only have fruit on the bottom trusses, whereas my large plants have finished flowering & have huge green fruits waiting to ripen, I thought it was still pretty early for all the flowers to have formed into fruit?
