Does anyone have any idea of the time that the eclipse will occur? The only data I've found is for the USA. I believe the moon is full at 0815 on the 21st.

Well that took a bit of googling, could only find american sites with times on.

Turns out that UT (universal time) is the american way of saying GMT. So that makes totality at 8.15 in the evening. So not too late then.

We got the same time then dave, if the moon is at it fullest then, then that should be the time the earth covers it I guess. We'll keep an eye on the media during the day, i'm sure they will correct us if we're wrong :tnp:

Thanks Woo - that confirms what I suspected.
Our north-west horizon is obstructed so there's no chance of us seeing the eclipse from the house
