Does anyone know of a site that sells packaging for transporting rooted cuttings through the mail please. I'm looking for something that's sturdy so the plants don't get crushed in transit. :)

Thanks catztail, I should have explained more, these cutting will probably have soil round them, so what I'm looking for is basically something with a pinched middle to seperate the top of the plant from the base, so that the base doesn't slide and crush the plant. :)

Hi Sheal depending on the width of the little rootball and the height if the cutting toilet roll tubes do the job. We've sold loads of citrus seedlings on ebay this year and we use a toilet roll tube to protect them, we send them in 3" pots, so the tube sits on the top of the pot perfectly...:dbgrtmb:

We use toilet roll tubes for some things as well. Kitchen roll tubes for larger ones.

Whoa, watch out there, Bilbo, you'll have someone suing you for catching the runs off a contaminated toilet roll. Elf and safety and all that.

We're not allowed to use them at school after dozens of children went down with the Squitty Flux, very nasty it was.

I made that bit up, by the way.

Don't worry, it's been decontaminated by being handled by dirty hands and put in dirty soil :dbgrtmb:
