    Dug this out of the junk heap ....... DSC00002 (1).JPG DSC00001 (1).JPG
Hoping (and praying) I can turn it into something acceptable in a dreary shady ugly spot - with lots of problems. It all turns green and `orrible as winter approaches.
I bought a cheap liner as there`s a hole in the bottom of the bath.....fingers crossed!

That looks a very small bath. I once had a very small bath in a flat I rented. It covered my bum and my feet and not a lot else.

This one came out of an old caravan. It`s a ''hip bath'' and I used to use it for washing pots in when I ran a small nursery about 98 years ago... my proper bath is a l o t bigger :snorky: DSC00020.JPG
I took the rusty old stand off and now it has a liner in. Moved it over a bit so it gets a little sunshine for a smidgen of the day.

It`s a very ugly corner at the moment. I will try to do something with those old metal shelves too. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Aww Tetts, you were enjoying it so, so much ... the closed eyes gave it away ... you were in Heaven!
Some super fab shots there, Tetts! Very kind of you to take the time *and* post them for us all to see.

                  Erm ... (grabs magnifying glass) ... :think2: ...

Oh, my goodness, you *did* get a shot of me ... :cmonhug: ... see the big church one ...

... if you look very, very, carefully you will see a red car ... yup, right there in the middle ... (I was visiting the Archbishop to advise him on seed gathering at this time of year  ) and *boof!* there you were!!! :wub2:
You may not see my arm waving ... I have short arms ... such a pity you didn't have a zoom lens  :dunno: :nonofinger:

Spiffing day for you, indeed! :rwine:

Ah well, back to work today. I bought a bag of slate and a gravel board, a pot of red paint, and for a contribution in the builders yard charity box a few broken bricks and slabs.
                    DSC00002 (3).JPG DSC00003 (3).JPG DSC00001 (3).JPG DSC00006 (4).JPG Need to go and find a few flints or rocks now.
It is good to cover up the drains. Back on the wheelbarrow tomorrow...:exhausted:

Sounds like you had a very good flight :). A day to remember. Love the new pics. Looks like you won't be letting the grass grow under your feet.

Actually luc.max. I have let the grass grow :nerd: and have fitted in cutting a couple of acres yesterday - and will have to do the rest tomorrow all being well.
managed to do a bit more though...
DSC00002 (4).JPG DSC00005 (4).JPG DSC00006 (5).JPG DSC00004 (4).JPG Found one nice big flint, but will need to find a lot more. A B&Q tall pot, and two more metal ones from Homebase.
There`s a long way to go yet.

Got a bit further with this ........

Am hoping the plants will cover the rest of the liner next year. Choisya grows quite quickly, and there is a Sarcococca and Choisya sundance planted on the right hand side of the bath.
Constructive criticism or suggestions very welcome. There are some lovely colours in those flints.
As this is north facing, I thought I`d plant a Parthenocissus in one of the pots - either tricuspidata or quinquefolia as they tend to cover more than Henryi (my favourite) and that`s a right ugly wall and drainpipe!

:wow: it looks amazing. How clever and creative of you :). I love the sound of running water in a garden, something that's missing from mine.
