Two plant ID

    Can you identify these two plants. The first has yellow flowers and now some berries are coming.

    the second is a tall grass which is now also getting flowers.

      The first plant (grass-like growth, with flower spikes developing) is crocosmia / montbretia (not sure what the current name is in the UK - but you should find it listed under either name.

      The second one, (yellow flowers, now getting berries) is a hypericum, often grown as ground cover.
