unknown wild plant, with vivid blue flower

    i just found that plant close to my house....any ideas what it is??

    I think it might be borage.
    Or a wild relative.

    Anchusa maybe?

    I would go with Pete's Anchusa which grows wild here and is blooming at the moment.

    :scratch: No it isn't Borage Pete it is Green Alkanet pentaglottis sempervirens.. It is a member of the same family as Borage but this one can be a bit of a thug if it gets in your garden..
