I have some .zip files which need to be epanded before I can use them Trouble is Windows 7 in this computer came without an Unzip program that I can see.
    Any suggestions?
I have tried to Download a free program called ZipItFree, but it does not seem to want to work with W7.

Try WinZip. Google for a free (time limited) download.
Save the download and just re-install when time runs out.

THanks folks. I have discovered that it is a different method of compression which is why W 7 could not open it. AND, after all that I now find I do not need the program I was trying to decompress.
    Thanks again though.
