I have 2 boxes of Autumn Feed & Moss Killer. I didn't use this in the autumn. Mea culpa. The moss in the lawn which I had significantly reduced last year has returned over the winter with a vengeance.

Obviously it would be better used in the autumn but is there any reason why I should not use it now before getting to it with spring tine rake etc?

Check the NPK rating on the packet then compare it to the Spring feed from the same brand. The moss killer will be fine the main difference will be the N rating will be lower which will also be fine.
