Whilst in Cornwall last October, I purchased a Vaccinium from a garden centre and it has been a good attractive plant so far.
Recently, however, it has sent out a number of shoots that have much larger leaves which[IMG] are paler in colour. Some appear from the base and others along an existing stem. Anyone else experienced this who can advise how to deal with it please? Many thanks

      Thanks, Pete
I was just concerned that with the new growth the leaves are larger and lighter in colour. I don't know if it's a sucker type growth that needs taking off, as you would with a rose.

Suckers are only a real problem on grafted plants mainly. Is it grafted?

I assume you are using ericacaous compost as they like acid soil and the leaves may go yellow if it's not.
If the new leaves green up in the next few weeks it's ok.
