        Did you try Sainsbury's quorn pie when it came out in 1985 @Scrungee ?

        Big "vegetarian" sticker on it.

        The then mrs zigs cooked us one and got cross with me when I couldn't eat it as it tasted of dead cow too much.

        Turned out they'd flavoured it with beef extract :th scifD36:

          There's still people who think Marmite and Bovril are the same.


          Or those serving lunches who think you're being unreasonable because you object to having your veggie meal served with the same implements they're using to serve the meaty ones.

          Or the meat eaters at the front of the queue snaffling all the veggie meals.

          And why is it that when foodstuffs get contaminated, it's always the likes of veggies with added pieces of rat? Rather than Beef contaminated with turnips? Aldi customer finds half a rat in packet of frozen vegetables
