Ola lukus, como estas hoje? I use Chiltern Seeds ... they post abroad and I had mine within days! Excellent service.

Hi lukus. I think Chiltern is the best seed catalogue of all. I am sure that you realise that most cultivars don't come true from seed. So if you really want the "Red Stem" cultivar, you will have to buy a plant that has been vegetatively propagated. But I am sure that the seeds will give you a plant that is virtually the same.

Dear Friends..many thanks for your interest and your prompt and kind reply...
I had a look ,before writing my lines,to the site you mentioned..but they "only" have the "normal" Thalia geniculata....
    anyway...
dear PeterS I read with interest what you told me...so I will ask ,to a friend of mine, who lives in south Italy, to send me a little plant of T.g. "red stem"..just to be sure ..to have what I'm looking for...

    many thanks to all....
    a friendly "ciao" from me..
    Luca

Well done dendro, you have got the variety. As its a variety (occurs naturally) rather than a cultivar (developed by man) it will always come true from seed. But you still have to find the seed - and no one seems to be selling it. If you have access to a cutting lukus - that will be the best way.
