    Hi Sugar Babes

    I've not had a lot of spare time to be able to get onto GC so haven't had a chance to chat to you much. I hope you don't think I have found some other Babes somewhere else.

    We've got loads of things to sort out before we go off to the Lakes. Mrs shiney has got someone to babysit our garden and greenhouse - he comes out everyday to check things.

    I'm involved with quite a few voluntary groups and social clubs (14 different committees and I'm chairman of two of them and president of another) and this is a busy time of year. I'm pleased I don't work as well!! :D :D

    We want a nice young stud.We have a Brother in l
    Law that is always off on commitees and other work,but the problem is nothing gets done in the house like DIY.It took him 9 years just to decorate the hall.

    Shiney can't have a love life or else he would be too tired to keep running off.

    Sometimes the wives are glad to see the back of them so they are not under their feet.

    Kandy, I won't be jealous if you Babes get someone in to help me out. I don't think I can cope with you all on my own!! [​IMG] [​IMG]

    It doesn't take me long to pack but I have to plan how to get my things into the car after Mrs shiney has taken everything but the kitchen sink!!! [​IMG] [​IMG] I know it is a woman's prerogative to take everything 'just in case' so I am happy with just a tiny space for my things.

    I think I shall start a new thread under 'Garden Visits' for photos of the Lake District as it is one big garden. Mrs shiney visited a fantastic garden in Norfolk on Friday. I'll see about posting that on there as well.

    Good idea Shiney.I was up the loft last night and found some nice holiday photos.

    Do a thread for your holiday photos under Muppets or else we will be forever going up and down.
    As you are going away sometime in the near future we could start it off ready for when you get back,or we can leave it until you get back,though as it is your idea you will probably want to start it off.

    We need to take everything with us just in case...though in my case I do take the kitchen sink...Don't forget the card...
