Hi guys, I've had a bit of a look through the threads but so far haven't found an answer to my dilemma, forgive me if it's been covered elsewhere. From what I have discovered via the internet & some books I have I should be watering the veg in my tunnel about once every 7 to 10 days, is this enough? I know some things need more water than others & I'm sure there are various factors to take into consideration but what would you good people recommend. :dbgrtmb:

Horses for courses, some plants like lots some like a bit drier and have deeper root system.
I check mine daily and play it by ear, often its every week and i water the soil not from overhead sprinkler as these i believe cause mould,so i just give a good soaking when needed, some plants i have in trays and water in the tray rather than the soil.
It really is on a plant to plant basis and also type of soil, potted or in the bed,and temps.

Cheers Lazydog, I thought it might be a case of suck it & see. I've also planted some seeds in trays 2 weeks ago, Basil/Broccoli/Carrots/Coriander/Parsley & Spring Onions, some of the Broccoli came up really quickly but no sign of anything else. I've been watering with a spray every day as the top of the compost seems to dry out really quickly,(cracks appearing on the surface), but now the few Broccoli seedlings that had appeared seem to be wilting. :(
