    Greetings from Shoreham-by-Sea.

I have a wonderful (to my eyes), greatly overcrowded, but very healthy Aloe Vera in our north-facing bay window. I say healthy, well, the main, upright section recently collapsed under its weight, but, at the same time it has produced two flower spikes, so it must be fairly happy, I guess.

When I was capable of lifting it, I would transfer a short distance to a bowl and water from the top, but it's too heavy to do that now. It's in a tray and I occasionally fill the tray to the brim and let it soak up the water, which it does quickly.

I'm not sure, though, how often I should do this. It's not a very big/high tray so only takes about 2 to 2.5 pints at a time. The container is about 12" high and 15" across at the top.

    What do you think?

    Thanks

    Neil
