    Hi Everyone,

I joined the forum yesterday. I live at Loch Lomond in Scotland.

My skill level in gardening I guess I would say is enthusiastic amateur. I know how to identify a good number of plants and how to look after them. We just moved to an older cottage style house with an established garden, was a little overgrown and in need of a severe weeding (already done). The previous owner had a taste for wildflowers and roses. The wildflowers are not really my taste and most have gone during the weeding but the roses are fairly well established but obviously haven't been properly looked after for a number of years. One has a severe case of Black Spot and another has pretty bad mildew on it. Going to try and save them though.

That's pretty much it. Looking forward to getting some advice.

    Take care
