      The leaves on the Lesser Trefoil look quite large in comparison to what I have here, so I’m not sure.

      I don’t intend on buying a Guinea Pig to clear this weed.

      It could be Medicago polymorpha, which looks similar

      Re Guinea Pig. If you should re consider you would need two as they suffer from loneliness.
      You could use a broad-leaf weed killer.
