    I found this in a pot I thought I had planted Fuchsias in ... but obviously not! Before I toss it, could it be ID'd please? I don't have many weeds. Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for responding. Could be. I also thought Sow Thistle. The colour has thrown me off. I have not seen flowers. As I am in the orange orchards there are virtually no weeds here. It is not something I fancy however.

    Sowthistle. They turn that colour when it's dry.

      Yes, a lot of plants get vivid colours under stress. I have bought what I thought were attractive coloured versions of plants before, only to find they go back to a verdant green when they get their roots into plenty of soil.
