Weeding newly seeded lawn?

    I seeded 8 weeks ago (with gro sure fast grow seed, highly recommended, I've mowed 4 times a week apart already!)
    Some weeds are coming through, besides the darn horsetail, dock is the main one. My other lawns are more weed than grass which I don't mind, they certainly need mowing less frequently! But this area is only lawn so I can manage it till we plant fruit trees and put bulbs under them. So I could do with it just being grass for autumn when that's planned.
    I have some weed and feed, wilkos brand, but it says not to use for the first year. Is there anything I could use on it this summer?

      Ah yes, that would work. It'd be fiddly but worth it I think. Thanks, I'll pick some up today...

      make a collar out of card board and slip that under the plant before you put the gell on
