Weeds -help identifying

Hello
I'm new to gardening having just moved from a flat to a house with a garden. The problem is I've no idea where to start with the garden in terms of weeds and I've probably made the mistake of digging up some plants today . Can anyone recommend a website/book that will help me identify weeds to prevent anymore disasters or are there any other tips that will help?

Thanks for that website, I just found in seconds what the nightmare plant in my front garden is and what to do to get rid of it. It's borage gone feral!
