I was in the garden this afternoon, and thought, with everyone putting time into their gardens now, it would be nice to be able to 'show-off' your gardens to other users, or maybe even show a specimen that has taken ages to nurture that you are proud of.

Anyway, this is The area for showcasing your gardens.

    Hope you all enjoy.

    Nathan. :D

The reddish climber to the right is Clematis Ernest Markham (if I remember the name correctly), and the blue funnel shaped flower is Ipomoea Purpurea, A form of perrenial morning glory.

Loved it very showy, Just started a very small garden, laid mostly to slabs and trellis if you can't go out go up... and I could find a place for some thing as nice as that and it a perennial a bonus! rosietu

Its perennial but unfortunately not hardy, I take cuttings and grow it in large pots, which I place outside in May,And cut back and put in the greenhouse in October. I bought my original plant at Trebah garden Cornwall in 1997. But I have seen it since at other nurseries occasionally.Try Google.
ps. Make sure you spell it right.

Jungle Seeds, I've got their catalogue.
Its in there under the name Ipomoea indica in the plants section, the seed grown plants are annuals, which are good if you dont have space to overwinter them, but they are not so strong growing.

    Pete,

Have you had any luck finding a Tuberose ..... Only, I have bought some from that person on Ebay ...... Big positive feedback, so hopefully they will bloom.

Have also purchased a Ferraria Crispa . Just browsing her shop on Ebay makes you want to buy most of the plants she has !!!!

Also like the look of a Tricyrtis Dark Beauty and Tricyrtis Hirta as well.

    Nathan.

No I havn't had any luck with the tuberose.
Ferraria and Tricyrtis both look pretty unusual and well worth growing. I've never tried either myself, you'll have to let us know how you get on.
Hope the tuberose does well for you, its got a really strong scent on warm summer evenings.

If you wanted to try them from her, I think she still has some.
