Won't be much hope if there is

Folk didn't want to listen when the council quite clearly said stay away from the cliffs, they are likely to fall soon:rolleyespink:

That cliff is the top of an eroded Anticline, the bit that's been bent the most and therefore has the most fault lines in it.

I've only fished under it once, looking at the fractures on the way back, I decided never to walk under it again :yikes:

This weather is certainly reshaping our coastline and we've lost quite a few coastal landmarks.

That for some reason seems to make it more attractive to some folk who just have to go to the cliffs.......just like Lemmings:dunno::coffee:

Well maybe if the Jet stream & the Gulf stream went back to their usual places we might be better off but with all the Volcanos rumbling maybe that isn't going to happen too quickly... I dunno,, so many things going on around the world... :dunno:

:blue thumb: Thankful no one was hurt in the cliff fall as well Zigs.....

That's one small mercy Marley :)

Just hoping we don't get any transform fault earthquakes while the ground is so saturated :yikes:

Wouldn't be much fun waking up to find your 2 storey house was suddenly a bungalow with a basement.

I hope there are no more slips this end of the Jurassic coast, we have had four in the last two years, one missing beach huts in Swanage by yards. Some parts of the SW Coastal Path are being rerouted due to the cliffs being unsafe.

I saw one of the cliff in a Sunday paper, and there was a child running free, below the cliff, and dust was still rising Unbelievable
