Hiya. I’m just having a first attempt at growing some vegetables. I put my tomatoes and courgettes outside about a week ago and their leaves have been attacked by something! Can anyone advise what I should do? Many thanks. Alison

I didn’t harden off but they were put outside on a warm and sunny couple of days.

It's not just getting them used to the colder outdoors, it's also light levels. They need to be gradually introduced to full full sunlight. Tomatoes are pretty tough and normally this wouldn't be a problem. I must admit some of my seedlings looked a bit scorched during that really hot spell a couple of weeks ago, I had to put them in the shade outdoors.

        Yours will soon recover.
